San Jose Scouting Report
The Sharks come into this one on a roll, having gone 6-0-1 in their last seven games. The return of center Logan Couture has sparked the Sharks recent run. Couture, rumored to be a potential trade target for the Wild, missed 30 games after breaking his fibula. Martin Jones (sha-la-la-la-la-la-la, uh-huh, yeah) has won his last five decisions and is expected to get the nod in goal today. Old friend Brent Burns leads the Sharks defensive corps and will be the Sharks lone representative in the NHL All-Star fiasco.

Wild Scouting Report
The Wild picked up a much-needed 3-0 win in Tinsletown on Thursday night. Darcy Kuemper made 32 saves in route to the shutout. Zach Parise, Chahlie Coyle, & Erik Haula scored for the Wild as they snapped a five-game losing skid. Parise's power play goal came in the midst of a 1 for 32 slide with the man-advantage, and marked the Wild's first power play goal since Ryan Seacrest counted down the waning moments of 2015. Wild coach Mike Yeo indicated he may come back with Kuemper in goal this afternoon.

The Wild keep doing the same thing and expecting different results.

ESPN may as well put a "Wa Wa Wah" sound on their website for Minnesota fans looking up NHL scores.

Note: Zach Parise is +5 against CBJ and is - 8 against everyone else 5 on 5.

Against CBJ and Avs, he is +8 and is - 11 against everyone else.

Parise has 13 negative games and 10 positive games. That is 5 positive games vs CBJ and Avs and only 5 other games.

Parise's GF60 RelTM of -0.83 is the third worst on the team. That means he is part of his line's offensive problems.

The Parise line is not getting it done, and Zack is not helping.
